To work as an Immigration Advisor, will have to be registered with the Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (‘OISC’) unless you are a Solicitor or Barrister.

There are 3 levels at which you can register depending on your level of experience and knowledge. Level 3 is the highest level.

The Office of the Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC) does not regulate course providers, including ILT. Unlike the Solicitors Regulatory Authority (SRA) or the Bar Council, it only regulates those who seek accreditation.

Our courses are designed to assist you to take the exam required by the OISC by giving you the requisite knowledge.  It is not an exam preparation seminar, nor is it a substitute to taking the exam in order to register with the OISC.

It is a criminal offence to offer immigration advice or services if you are not regulated by the OISC (unless you are regulated by the Law Society or Bar Council).
